An annual action plan development meeting for the 2026–2027 fiscal year of the Ashulia and Savar Union Multi-Stakeholder Platform (MSP) was held under the initiative of the Ashulia and Savar Union Parishads.

The meeting was implemented by OBHIZATRIK Foundation, with support from the Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition (GAIN) and funding from the Government of Switzerland. The respected Chairpersons of the Ashulia and Savar Union Parishads, along with relevant representatives and stakeholders, attended the meeting.

Organized under the Climate Action at Local Level (CALL) project, the meeting included detailed discussions on addressing climate change risks at the local level, promoting environmentally sustainable development, and improving nutrition outcomes.

Participants emphasized the importance of developing an integrated annual action plan to further strengthen climate-resilient and nutrition-sensitive development initiatives. Discussions also focused on ensuring active participation, coordination, and collaboration among all relevant stakeholders through the Multi-Stakeholder Platform.

The coordinated implementation of climate and nutrition-related initiatives at the local level is expected to contribute significantly to building environmentally sustainable, resilient, healthy, and inclusive communities in Ashulia and Savar.
