OBHIZATRIK Foundation participates in COP17 of the United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification (UNCCD), held in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia from 17 to 28 August 2026, as an accredited observer organization.
From the islands of the Meghna River Basin to the global stage, we carry the voice of coastal Bangladesh — where rising salinity, river erosion and cyclones reshape land and lives every day. In partnership with IUCN, we take part in two official side events.
