Partners for Prosperity
The Partners for Prosperity (PFP) initiative by OBHIZATRIK Foundation empowers youth-led and community-based organizations (CBOs) across the Dhaka Division to create positive change in their own communities. Through this program, we provide direct financial grants that enable local youth groups to address key social issues with creativity and independence. Guided by the motto “Act Local, Think Global,” PFP promotes local leadership through projects focused on education, health, livelihoods and social welfare.
So far, 11 local community organizations have received funding through PFP in the first year of the program, reaching about 6,500 direct and 19,500 indirect beneficiaries through initiatives that support education, healthcare, nutrition and livelihood development. Since OBHIZATRIK Foundation cannot reach every community alone, we partner with dedicated CBOs who best understand their local needs. This initiative is supported by Muslim Charity UK, who share our vision of sustainable community development.
In addition, PFP includes a special program for orphaned children who have lost their fathers. Through this support, we provide monthly food supplies, educational materials, healthcare and financial aid to ensure these children can grow up with dignity and equal opportunities. So far, we have supported around 10 children with plans to reach many more in the near future.
Any community-based organization (CBO) operating within the Dhaka Division can apply to join the PFP initiative and collaborate with us in building stronger and more resilient communities.
