Emergency Response
OBHIZATRIK Foundation’s Emergency Response program has been a cornerstone of its efforts to provide disaster relief and emergency preparedness. Over the past 13 years, the foundation has aided over 1 cr people, demonstrating its significant role in disaster management. OBHIZATRIK Foundation recognizes the utmost significance of prompt and efficient action in times of crisis. Our steadfast volunteer network demonstrates unwavering commitment by swiftly mobilizing across Bangladesh to provide immediate assistance and support during emergencies, including natural disasters and other critical situations. From responding to devastating floods and cyclones to aiding in the aftermath of tragic events such as the Rana Plaza catastrophe, Turkey and Nepal earthquakes, and the Covid-19 pandemic, our dedicated volunteers serve on the frontlines, ensuring a rapid and coordinated response. In 2024, OBHIZATRIK provided relief to 9,58,716 during the flash flood, served 23,700 with healthcare, and rebuilt 300 house for underprivileged people who lost their homes in the flood as part of its rehabilitation efforts.
The foundation’s ability to mobilize resources and provide timely assistance during crises is a testament to its dedication to community resilience. By addressing immediate needs and supporting long-term recovery, OBHIZATRIK Foundation ensures that affected communities can rebuild and thrive after disasters.
