Under the “Dong-Geu-Ra-Mi” programme, a three-day life skills development session was organized for students at the Mirpur branch of OBHIZATRIK School.
On the second day of the programme, the students were introduced to new aspects of Korean culture and creative learning. Under the guidance of Korean volunteers, they learned how to prepare two popular Korean dishes—Kimbap and Bibimbap.
By participating in each stage of the food preparation process, the students gained practical knowledge of basic cooking techniques, personal hygiene, food safety, and the importance of teamwork.
The students also took part in a creative crafting session, where they learned how to make useful and decorative items from recyclable materials. The activity encouraged creative thinking while raising awareness about environmental responsibility and sustainable lifestyles.
On the final day, the students participated in an assessment where they applied the cooking and crafting knowledge acquired during the previous sessions. The assessment allowed them to demonstrate their newly developed skills, understanding, and creativity.
Overall, the programme offered the students a unique learning experience by combining cultural exchange with practical life skills. Through interactive activities, they not only discovered Korean culture but also strengthened their teamwork, creativity, confidence, and environmental awareness.
