Project Shakti – EUPP (End ultra–poverty Program) is designed to bring ultra-poor households out of extreme poverty to a more stable state. We have decided to help those communities with various earning sources and they can return the amounts with 0% interest in weekly installments. On 4 November, the pilot phase of Shakti took place at Savar, Dhaka in collaboration with ZXY International. This new livelihood program pilot phase will be rolled out 18 in Dhaka and 15 in Cox’s Bazar within a month.
Initially, project Shakti started its journey by handing over 5 autorickshaws. This initiative aims to provide individuals and families with the means to enhance their livelihoods and create a positive impact on their lives. These autorickshaws, which are widely used for transportation throughout the area, are useful vehicles that can raise the standard of living and offer a source of income to the beneficiaries. This impressive project demonstrates the dedication of OBHIZATRIK to supporting long-term solutions to local challenges.
The beneficiaries of these autorickshaws are carefully selected based on their socio-economic circumstances, with a focus on those who face financial hardships and unemployment. These individuals, once struggling to make ends meet, now have the opportunity to earn a living and provide for their families.
By empowering individuals with the means to earn a living, the OBHIZATRIK Foundation is helping build a brighter and more prosperous future for those in need. This act serves as an inspiration for others to make a positive impact in their communities as well.
